I got to catch up with 2 of my high school classmates and meet there sweet little boy, Whit!
I didn’t take my camera, but Dana has a blog so check out her cute family!
On the way back to Florence from Rock Hill the sky opened up and it rained, rained, and rained.
The interstate was flooded…like 6-8 inches of standing water over all of the lanes
It was one of the craziest things I have ever seen!
All in all a wonderful weekend!!!
I had something happen this morning
that has never happened to me before…
I set my alarm clock for 6:00 PM instead of 6:00 AM!!!
I woke up in a panic this morning…
To make matters worse…
I didn’t do my grocery shopping yesterday
so not only was I rushing…
I was trying to piece together breakfast and lunch with the remaining things in the house!

and tell everyone what you are loving today!
I have had quite a few of the same questions regarding this little baby that is brewing in my belly.
I thought it would be easier to just post the answers than trying to get back to each and everyone of you…
the biggest questions is….
Are we finding out the gender!?!
When the baby is born we will 🙂 We both love surprises and think that this would be the ultimate surprise!!! I think waiting will be amazing!
Will I go back to work?
Yes…I really like my job (and it is not too tough)…not to mention I still have 2 more years to work under a Professional Engineer before I can take my Professional Engineering Exam (also know as the PE)…and I dont think that we would be able to live comfortably with only 1 salary!
so that leads me to this question….
Will our sweet little baby go to day care?
That would be a yes. I grew up going to day care and I think it was a good thing for my brother and me. I think I have even found a great place…thanks to Whitney 🙂
Why have you already started on the nursery?
Since we are not find out the gender there is no point in waiting…and my mom and I have a little (really big) project up our sleeve and that said project is going to take some time to complete. The walls are already painted…and the new carpet should be installed during the first part of October
Will the pups stay with us?
absolutely….they are our first babies
and they will not be kicked outside…TIllman would kill me!
Will I be sharing the names?
not until the babe is born…oh me being so secretive over here 🙂
I think that was all of them…
If you have another question for me just comment or email: email@example.com
and I will answer them 🙂
friday night lights- we are finally jumping on board.
We have both heard how good this is and knew that we wanted to see what all this hype was about.
So we decided why not start this weekend, so we went to Best Buy and bought the first season. We have watched 2 episodes and we both really like it so far. We may get Netflix so that we don’t have to buy the other seasons…but we are still looking into that!
Do you have Netflix? Do you love it?
flu shots– we went to get them this weekend
My doctor told me that I should go ahead and get one as soon as possible, so we bit the bullet and went to CVS to get the shot.
Another pretty cool thing…when you get the flu shot at CVS you get a $5 gift card…pretty cool deal 🙂
lunch date with whitney- I finally got to meet a fellow blogger Whitney over the weekend. We live in the same town and we just needed to meet face to face. And I am so glad we did…we had a great time. I’m happy to say I have found a friend in Florence 🙂
**sorry I didn’t even take my camera with me**
after lunch I went to Books-A-Million since it was closing and tried to find some baby books...
I think everyone else in the store had my same idea.
The people were brutal…I found a few Eric Carle books and Dr. Seuss books. I even had one of my books I picked out snatched…but I got it back!
My mom and dad came to see us this weekend too! We are working on a project in the baby’s nursery. I think that our project is going to be amazing! It is going to take some time (lots of time) but will turn out perfectly!
go “here” to see the BUMP up to this point…
Size of Baby: the size of a plum (according to thebump.com)…like 2-3 inches long
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +1 lb…I’m pretty proud of the pound too
Maternity Clothes: My mom and I went shopping and I racked up over Labor Day weekend…so I have maternity clothes at my disposal. I have worn a pair of my maternity pants a couple of times since my regular pants are not very comfortable…I’m tired of the rubber band trick!
Gender: ?? Andre thinks boy…but I really have no clue
Tillman hopes for a girl and Tucker hopes for a boy
Movement: none yet…but I cant wait for the movement to start
Sleep: pretty good…I just wish I could get more sleep at night (I could honestly sleep 10 hours every night)
Sleeping on my side is also taken some getting use to…I have always been a stomach sleeper
What I miss: nothing….maybe a glass of wine with dinner
Cravings: well I stopped by Sonic after my appointment on Monday and got chili cheese tots (and if you know me then you know I WOULD NEVER eat that normally)
…not really liking anything sweet
Symptoms: tired, bigger boobs, dizziness
**I am so glad the nauseous waves have subsided (they lasted from about 9 weeks to 11 weeks)**
Best Moment This Week: hearing our little baby’s heart beat on Monday
and actually getting to tell people that I am pregnant….no more secrets 🙂
